This Green Built Home by TJB Builders features a 2.0 kW solar electric system consisting of (10) 200-watt solar panels that are estimated to provide for about 25% of the home's electrical needs.
The system is also expected to offset about 2.5 TONS of carbon dioxide from being released into our atmosphere each year, which is the equivalent of planting about 300 trees in our forests.
Plans for expanding the system up to 25 solar panels over the next few years are being considered.
