Journey Inn is home to one of the largest commercial solar water and space heating systems in the area. Twenty-four 3'x6' solar collectors provide an estimated 870 therms of heat per year.

The system is expected to offset about 10,500 lbs. of carbon dioxide emissions, which is equivalent to planting about 525 trees.
